Delete Account

How to delete an optional QR Barcode Scanner & Maker account and associated cloud data.

Delete in the app

1. Open QR Barcode Scanner & Maker and sign in.
2. Open Account.
3. Tap Delete Account and read the warning.
4. Enter the password for that account to confirm.

This permanently deletes the Supabase authentication account, profile, synced QR/barcode cloud records and support tickets. Local codes and scan history stay on the device as local-only copies.

What in-app deletion removes

• the Supabase authentication account
• the profile (full name and related profile timestamps)
• synced QR code and barcode cloud records, including encoded content, design settings, identifiers, timestamps and deleted-at tombstones
• related in-app support tickets for that account

Cloud QR/barcode rows and support tickets are linked to the auth user with ON DELETE CASCADE, so removing the auth account also removes those rows.

What it does not remove

• Local device data: saved codes in the app, scan history, account-reminder flags, temporary export files, and logo image files on the device
• Images you already saved to your gallery, clipboard copies, or files you shared with other apps
• Copies that may remain in backups, email logs, or security logs for a limited time where the law requires

Item deletion is not account deletion

Deleting one QR code or barcode in the app only removes that item locally and marks the matching cloud row as deleted so sync stays consistent. It does not close the account or erase your profile.

If you no longer have the app

Email info@mediaventum.com from the same address you used to register, with the subject Account deletion request — QR Barcode Scanner & Maker. Media Ventum aims to complete email requests within 30 days, unless a longer legal hold is required.
